At Wellness Care Home, we meet our elderly residents where they're at by identifying their specific needs, and in providing them with personalized care. We prepare home-cooked meals, noting allergies and special pureed diets, with lots of love, using quality ingredients. As a state-licensed care facility, we uphold regulations, hold ourselves accountable to compliance and continuous improvement and carry out care with tact, sensitivity and fairness.
We believe in providing compassionate companionship, grooming in a timely manner, and upholding cleanliness to create a safe and nurturing care home. We approach service with a mindset of passion and wellness, or we don't serve at all. We believe that all of us deserve to be loved and treated as family so we encourage healing , warmth and a positive spirit that is God-honoring.
Walking the Walk
Caring for others is our privilege. Our administrator, Gretchen, is a state licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, and she has dedicated numerous years throughout her professional careeer in serving the elderly in various living situations, from private residences, 6-bed Board and Care Homes, to Assisted Living Facilities and Skilled Nursing Facilities.
Our caregivers respect and dignify your loved ones and receive ongoing training that covers essential skills such as proper hygiene, safe transfer training, understanding dementia and challenging behaviors, med management and hospice care, grief and support. We collaborate with our families, care providers, and clinical home health professionals to ensure the safety and comfort of our residents.
